DAVID AND FAMILY LTD.は、タレCWSとガコCWSの2つを所有しています。いずれも廃水は濾過後に貯水タンクに貯め再利用し、パルプは堆肥に使用するなど環境的循環にも取り組んでいます。
また、フイエマウンテンエリアは多くの小規模農家により構成されているため、デービット氏は7つのエリアに分けることでそれぞれ異なるフレーバーを持つコーヒー生産に取り組んで
います。
エリアのひとつには実験圃場もあり、品質改善・収量改善のモデルケースにするだけでなく、フイエ群の農家に向けた教育の場としても機能しています。
DAVID AND FAMILY LTD. owns two washing stations: Tare CWS and Gako CWS. At both facilities, the company is committed to environmental sustainability through practices such as filtering and recycling wastewater in storage tanks and repurposing pulp as compost.
As the Huye Mountain region is comprised of many smallholder farmers, Mr. David has organized the area into seven distinct zones, working to produce coffees with unique flavor profiles in each.
One of these zones features an experimental plot that serves not only as a model for improving quality and yield but also as an educational hub for farmers across the Huye district.
